Dil Dosti Etc is a fresh, unabashed, no holds barred look at how young men of today think and choose to live their lives. Dil Dosti Etc is set around students in Delhi University. Through two university hostellers, Apurv (Imaad Shah), a rich cosmopolitan guy and, Sanjay (Shreyas Talpade), an old-fashioned Bihari guy, the film juxtaposes the 'new/ liberal' and the 'old/ conservative' in our society. Sanjay is an ambitious and focused Bihari student-politician in Delhi. He represents the romantic and the idealist who steadfastly pursues his political goals. On the other hand, Apurv's life is directionless. With the abundance of time and money in hand, he searches for meaning in life through amorous escapades with various girls. The three female leads that of a prostitute, a schoolgirl and a rich model, provide a myriad of social and emotional backdrops to the film. Vaisali (Smriti Mishra) plays an attractive but sharp-tongued prostitute. She claims never to get emotionally attached to her customers. Then there is the vibrant and flirtatious schoolgirl Kintu (Ishitta Sharrma), who coquettishly remains noncommittal and always plays hard to get. Prerna (Nikita Anand) is the rich South Delhi babe who aspires to become an international model, and yet finds herself attracted to the earthy and charismatic student-politician, Sanjay.

Plot summary for Alvin and the Chipmunks (2007):
In a tree farm, three musically inclined chipmunks, Alvin, Simon and Theodore, find their tree cut down and sent to Los Angeles. Once there, they meet the frustrated songwriter David Seville, and despite a poor house wrecking first impression, they impress him with their singing talent. Seeing the opportunity for success, both human and chipmunks make a pact for them to sing his songs. While that ambition proves a frustrating struggle with the difficult trio, the dream does come true after all. However, that success presents its own trials as their unscrupulous record executive, Ian Hawke, plans to break up this family to exploit the boys. Without speaking the same language, they communicate through letters until war intervenes. Their unrequited love persists however, and Herve's wife Helene begins to suspect.

خلاصه فیلم : کال جوانی مودب است که یکروز که همراه پدرش به ماهیگیری می رود در راه بازگشت دچار با اوتمبیل شان تصادف کرده و پدر کال کشته می شود . یکسال بعد او تبدیل به جوانی عصبی و بدخلق شده است که یکروز سر کلاس یکی از معلمانش را کتک می زند . او بخاطر اینکار در دادگاه محاکمه شده و جریمه او اینست که به مدت سه ماه در خانه شان زندانی باشد و یک وسیله الکتریکی نیز به پای او بسته می شود تا زمانیکه او بیشتر از پنجاه متر از خانه شان دور شود پلیس از این موضوع مطلع شود . کال مجبور به اقامت در خانه می شود و چون مادرش تمام سرگرمی های او را نیز ممنوع کرده تصمیم می گیرد با دوربین خانه همسایه ها را دید بزند و یکی از دوستانش به اسم رونی نیز او را همراهی می کند . از بین همسایه ها مردی ترسناک و عجیب به اسم ترنر توجه او را جلب می کند . در همین حین او با دختر یکی از همسایه ها به اسم اشلی نیز دوست می شود و بهمراه او و رونی متوجه می شوند که قتلهای زنجیره ای و ناپدید شده چند نفر که اخیراً در خبرها آمده زیر سر ترنر است و بنابراین آنها تصمیم می گیرند هر طور شده سر از کار او در آورند .
